The weather is Kerala is very pleasant throughout the year. According to vedic knowledge Parasuram the Great Grandson of rishi Bhrugu created Kerala. Hindu veds Parasuram cites that Parasuram was sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, his objective was to relieve the country by the rule of arrogant Kshatriyas. Cochin
Cochin the “Gateway to Kerala” was the starting point of the colonization of India more than 600 years ago; and today it is the commercial capital of Kerala. It has housed Arabs, British, Dutch, Chinese and Portuguese in the past and hence its historical sites and architecture attracts lots of tourists today.

Munnar
Munnar is located around 100 kms from Cochin on the Western Ghats. This hill station is at 1600 meters above the sea level. During the British Raj – the town of Munnar was their summer resort. Munnar is very famous for its manicured Tea Plantations and is blessed with the highest peak in South India Anamudi and it is an ideal spot for trekking

Thekkady
Thekkady is outpost of small forest popularly known as Periyar Tiger Reserve lying on the Western Ghats. The best part of the park is that it is operational throughout the year, it stays open even during monsoon. Another best attraction is the Elephant rides that happens through the jungle which is for 30 minutes.

Alleppey
Alleppey is located in the south western side between Vembanad Lake and the Arabian Sea. It is also known as Alappuzha or “Venice of the East”. Best time to visit Alleppey is from September to March however monsoon tourism (June to August) is also getting very popular amongst tourist. Snake boat race is the biggest attraction of Alleppey it is held on second Saturday of every August and do not forget to experience an houseboat stay in Alleppey.

Wayanad
