Bangkok
Bangkok is the capital and by far the largest city of Thailand. This is relatively a young capital which was
established in 1782. This travel friendly city of Asia is a tropical metropolis. Most of the Bangkok’s sights
are on Rattanakosin Island. Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun are the top 3 temples of Bangkok. Wat
Pho has the largest reclining Buddha image. Lumphini Park located in Silom is the largest park in
Bangkok. While in Bangkok enjoy the Tuk-Tuk tours. Chinese New Year Festival is the major festival of
Bangkok which is held in January or February.
Pattaya
Located at the Eastern Gulf Coast of Thailand Pattaya is a seaside resort about 150 km of Bangkok.
Famous for its Beer Bars; sex tourism still remains key money earner for Pattaya. However the local
authorities are taking efforts to make this city more family-friendly. Pattaya Beach is full of life with
hundreds of beer bar, discotheques, Muay Thai, the Thai Boxing. More popular amongst family is the
Jomtien Beach which is calm and serene compared to the crown of Pattaya beach. Ban Sukhawadee,
Buddha Hill, Chaloemphrakiat Park, Sanctuary of Truth, Wat Yanasangwararam Woramahawihan are
few sacred places in Thailand that one can visit. Cartoon Network Amazone, Mini Siam, Nong Nooch
Tropical Garden, Three Kingdoms Theme Park are the theme parks for vacationers to visit.

Ko Samui
The island located 700 km from Bangkok at the Chumphon Archipelago in the Gulf of Thailand is known
as Ko Samui. It is house of around 90% Buddhist inhabitants. Till the 20th Century Samui was an isolated
island; around 1970’s some backpacker travelers started arriving to Samui and by 1990’s this island had
started to see huge influx of tourists and now is the second-most popular island in Thailand.
